The Harley Davidson design Cool Collar Oil Filter Cooler fits on all Air-Cooled Harley V-Twin style motorcycles...Evo, Sporster & Twincams, too. It also fits S&S Indian, Rev Tech and any Harley Style V-Twin. Please advise as to which motor you have and the year of your bike. Can be easily repolished with a shoe string or a piece of yarn. It's a Harley part and needs to be run on actual Harley brand filters for a proper fit.

This is an authentic Show Polished HARLEY-DAVIDSON THREE INCH Billet & patented Cool Collar oil filter cooler. It works so well that you will be able to lay your knuckles on your rear valve cover at 55 mph on a 70 degree day without burning them!

These are GENUINE, NEW STOCK PARTS, not factory blems.

• It’s made from 6061 aircraft quality billet T-6 aluminum. This cooler is a high transfer rate “HEAT SINK” design that removes engine heat EVERY time oil passes through the oil filter.
• Simply push the Cool Collar over the oil filter to install, and slide it off in cold weather, or to change the filter. THAT'S IT! By design, this cooler grips the filter with no clamps or screws to vibrate loose. Less expensive than the cheap, pot metal decorative covers that increase oil temps.
  
• This cooler can be installed in TEN SECONDS on most models. Other models may require loosening the shifter to get at the filter- only taking a minute or two. Try that with the other coolers on the market that take all afternoon to install, invade the oil system, affect the warranty, cannot be removed in cold weather and take all day to connect the fittings, run the ugly hoses, drill the holes, mount the parts and... Hope you have no leaks.
• Customizing? The Cool Collar can actually be pinstriped in the grooves with any standard 1/8 inch striping tape to compliment your bike's paint colors.

Harley has not carried these for seven years or so. I bought all of their inventory back "new in the boxes" (3,200 of them) -- they were accidentally left out of their catalog when the Twincams came into production. They never gave us the opportunity to make a Twincam cooler, so they unknowingly deleted the whole product line and said it wasn't worth the trouble to put it in the catalog again. They would rather sell the dealer-installed $250.00 cooler units. All of our coolers are the Evo style, and we modify them to fit the Twincams, cutting them back and knife-edging them to clear the motor mount bosses found on the Twincam engine blocks.
